Kim Hye Yoon is in talks to star in a new fantasy romantic-comedy drama alongside Lomon.
As reported by Joy News 24 on August 16, the Lovely Runner actress has received an offer to join the cast of I Am Human From Today (literal title) and is reviewing it positively. The media outlet says her participation is nearly confirmed, barring any unexpected issues or last-minute changes.
The role was previously offered to Shin Se Kyung, as reported last month. However, it seems Kim Hye Yoon will be stepping in as a female lead now.
I Am Human From Today is a romantic drama with a twist, telling the story of a quirky gumiho who deliberately avoids kindness and love to prevent herself from becoming human, and a narcissistic soccer star.
Kim Hye Yoon is considering an offer to play the captivating Eun-ho, a mischievous gumiho who’s stuck in a state of permanent youth and beauty. With no interest in growing up, Eun Ho lives life on her own whims, dodging responsibility and picking only the most thrilling experiences.
Meanwhile, Lomon is on board to play the role of Kang Si Yeol, a soccer star with a larger-than-life personality and an ego to match.

The script is written by Park Chan Young and Jo Ah Young, who co-wrote Best Chicken. The drama is currently in discussions to air on SBS.
