Kim Jin Kyung, the stunning model and actress, is scoring big with her heart, as she prepares to marry her goalkeeper beau, Kim Seung Gyu, next month.
According to her agency Sublime, Kim Jin Kyung will tie the knot with her fiancé, soccer star Kim Seung Gyu, on June 17 in a private ceremony in Seoul.
The intimate afternoon wedding will take place at an undisclosed location in the city, surrounded by close friends and family.
Their romance blossomed through their shared love of soccer. The 27-year-old model shared her passion for the sport when she appeared on SBS’ Kick a Goal, and it was only a matter of time before she connected with a like-minded soul like Kim Seung Gyu.
Kim Jin Kyung’s career in the spotlight began when she took second place in OnStyle’s Korea’s Next Top Model in 2012. She went on to grace the small screen with roles in dramas like Andante and Perfume, and made appearances on various entertainment shows.
Meanwhile, her soon-to-be husband, Kim Seung Gyu, has been making waves in the soccer world since his professional debut with Ulsan Hyundai in 2006. He’s played for top teams like Vissel Kobe and Kashiwa Reysol in Japan, and currently tends the goal for Al Shabab FC in Saudi Arabia.
