Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah, the lead stars of the forthcoming drama “Knock Off”, made an appearance at Disney Presents: A Night of Stars in Singapore.
During the exclusive event, the pair discussed their characters, the drama’s plot, and what fans can expect from this thrilling new series.
Walt Disney Korea organized the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2024 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on November 20.
The event showcased Disney’s upcoming theatrical and streaming releases, featuring exclusive content previews and new titles from Korea and Japan. The showcase drew approximately 400 journalists from 12 countries.
Many international celebrities including Jo Bo Ah and Kim Soo Hyun attended the event to promote “Knock Off,” releasing on Disney+ in the first half of 2025.
They introduced their characters in the hugely-awaited series. First, Kim Soo Hyun introduced his character saying, “My role, Kim Sung Joon, is about a man who started out ordinary but faced many difficulties, survived, and ultimately became the king of the counterfeit market.”
Then, Jo Bo Ah talked about her role, saying, “My role is Song Hye Jung. She is a civil servant responsible for chasing Kim Sung Joon.”
Talking about the plot of the drama, the “Destined With You” actress shared, “Knock Off is set in the late 90s to early 2000s. Throughout that period, there is a lot to look forward to as we show different parts of Korea. That will be something you will enjoy, so please look forward to it.”
Kim Soo Hyun concluded by saying, “I hope everyone who participated today had a great time and will leave with good memories. Please stay safe, avoid getting hurt, and stay healthy. Let’s meet again next year while watching Knock Off.”
They asked everyone to look forward to the release in 2025.
