Kim Soo Hyun’s agency has officially dismissed the dating speculations involving Kim Sae Ron as unfounded.
Earlier, in the early hours of March 24, Kim Sae Ron shared a picture of herself with Kim Soo Hyun on her social media platform, which she later deleted.
However, the image circulated online, leading to speculations of a romantic involvement due to the image depicting Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun facing each other.
Kim Sae Ron, who used to be part of Gold Medalist with Kim Soo Hyun, ended her contract with the agency due to a drunk driving incident in 2022. This has led to many questions about why she suddenly shared a photo with the actor especially when he is receiving acclaim for his role in the drama Queen of Tears.
Gold Medalist, the agency representing Kim Soo Hyun, refuted the dating speculation with an official statement on March 24, stating, “We are informing that Kim Soo-Hyun’s dating rumors are not currently true.”
Regarding the photo, the agency mentioned, “The photo that has been spread online appears to have been taken in the past, when [Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron] were under the same agency.”
Gold Medalist further stated that they’re unable to understand the intention of Sae Ron behind posting that photo.
Moreover, the agency announced legal action against ‘malicious slander and insulting posts that defame actor’s character and honor.’
