On February 5, tvN dropped fresh stills from the upcoming drama Queen of Tears (written by Park Ji-eun, directed by Jang Young-woo and Kim Hee-won). The newly released image gives us a glimpse into Baek Hyun-woo’s character (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and sets the stage for what’s to come.

Queen of Tears is a delightful romantic comedy that tells the love story of Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won), a charismatic third-generation chaebol and the reigning queen of department stores, and Baek Hyun-woo, the son of a village head and a charming prince of the supermarket world.
Despite being married for three years, their journey is filled with laughter, romance, and unexpected twists.
Kim Soo Hyun takes on the role of Baek Hyun-woo, the legal director of Group Queens and the husband of Korean conglomerate Hong Hae-in. He’s got a tall and impressive presence, having graduated from a prestigious law school and growing up in a privileged environment both physically and mentally.
