On June 25, industry insiders reported that the 34-year-old actor had splurged 13.7 billion won on a luxurious building in Seoul’s upscale Nonhyeon-dong neighborhood, Gangnam-gu.

Notably, the building purchased by him has a storied past, having previously served as the headquarters of Big Hit Entertainment (now known as BIGHIT MUSIC). BIGHIT MUSIC is the label behind the global phenomenon BTS, before its relocation to HYBE.

The building served as the home of BIGHIT MUSIC (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) since 2007. After that, the company expanded and relocated to a nearby site in 2011.

The label, which is responsible for the massive success of BTS, later moved its offices to Samseong-dong in 2018 and finally to Yongsan in 2020, after rebranding as HYBE.

The building acquired by Kim Woobin features a substantial footprint, with a land area of 315.5 square meters and a total floor area of 1,316.84 square meters, spread across two underground floors and five stories above ground.

On the work front, Kim Woobin is busy shooting the upcoming Netflix original series Everything Will Come True, which is the next project by writer Kim Eun Sook. In addition, he is set to star in Officer Black Belt movie, scheduled to release in mid-to-late 2024.
