Get ready to see the versatile actor, Kim Woobin, in a new light as he has signed for an action-comedy film. The Kim Woo-bin we know from Uncontrollably Fond and The Heirs will be taking on bad guys in the upcoming film. Recently, it seems that the actor is more into action roles after the success of his latest show Black Knight. 

His Sci-fi show Black Knight was a great success, probably that’s the reason why Netflix has collaborated with the actor again. This time, Kim Woobin will appear in a role that he has not done before. So, get ready for action and laughter with the upcoming action-comedy Officer Black Belt.

As the name implies, Kim Woobin will be playing the role of a martial arts prodigy with nine dans in Judo, Taekwondo, and Kendo. It is a riveting action-comedy that will give you fits of laughter and intense fight scenes. In addition, fans can expect some high-speed chases as well.

It follows the story of a martial arts officer whose life is masterfully intertwined with the probation officer. Both have different ways of solving crime and are relentless in changing their ways. The martial arts officer (Kim Woobin) has a knack for catching criminals and will surely impress the audience with his charm and martial prowess.

The film starts with an action sequence where Kim Woo-bin is seen saving a martial arts officer from criminal assault. The said officer is a partner of a probation officer and loves physically dangerous situations. As a result, Kim Woo-bin is appointed as the temporary martial arts officer for five weeks.

On the other hand, Kim Sung Kyung plays the role of dedicated probation officer. He recognizes and believes in the talents of Kim Woobin and advises him to take on this role permanently. Together, the duo go on a crime-busting adventure. 

It is directed by the director of the hit Netflix series, Bloodhounds and Midnight Runners. Bloodhounds was in the global Top 10 TV Non-English shows in 83 countries. So, we can expect nothing but a good film from Jason Kim.

The release date is not yet confirmed, however, it will exclusively release on Netflix. So far the following information has been confirmed.
