Kim Woojin, who made his debut as part of Stray Kids, departed from the group in 2019. He mentioned personal reasons for his departure, surprising STAYs and fans with his decision.

After his withdrawal from the group, he pursued a solo career and is now gearing up to make a comeback this month. 

More recently, Kim Woojin signed with Kustomade and the agency released an exclusive interview where he discusses many things, from how he spends his days to his departure from Stray Kids.

In an interview released on April 1, Woojin addressed and apologized for leaving Stray Kids, expressing, “In the past, after leaving a team like that, I feel terribly sorry about it.”

He continued to say, “Back then, I was young,” and added, “I focused on my situation first.” Then, Woojin apologized saying, “Although it is a bit late, I would like to apologize to all the people who were hurt by this incident.”

After expressing his deep apologies, he vowed to talk about himself in new songs and show sympathy through music.
