Girls’ Generation’s Yoona has renewed her contract with SM Entertainment for the third time. She has been working under the aforesaid agency for an incredible 17 years.
On January 4, Korean media outlets reported that Yoona finished renewing her contract with SM Entertainment after being with them for a whopping 17 years.
The King The Land actress who debuted in Girls’ Generation in 2007, just signed her third contract renewal with SM Entertainment. Both Yoona and SM Entertainment reached an agreement based on trust and confidence in each other.
Yoona has truly become a top star through her acting and singing career. She’s so versatile, covering all genres from entertainment to hosting as well as starring in dramas and movies.
In addition, her acting career has taken off in recent years, especially with the success of hit dramas like Big Mouse (2022) and King The Land (2023).
On another note, Yoona is kicking off the new year with a fan meeting tour called YOONA FAN MEETING TOUR: YOONITE. The tour will take her to 8 cities across Asia, starting with a performance in Seoul at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall on January 6-7.
