A private video allegedly involving well-known idol members has become the center of a growing controversy after it began circulating online. On September 28, the clip spread widely across the social media platform X, which drew intense reactions from fans.
The video shows two male figures and one female figure inside a closed room. The female can be seen sharing physical closeness with one of the men. This included gestures of affection such as hair stroking, hugging attempts, and body contact while she was lying down.
According to timestamps, the footage was recorded on May 7. However, the low quality of the video has made it difficult to confirm the identities of those appearing in it.
Real names of idols have nevertheless been mentioned in connection with the clip. Speculation points toward Julie from KISS OF LIFE and Kangmin and Yeonho from VERIVERY.
The use of real names has fueled online backlash and stirred demands from fandoms for agencies to address the matter directly. Questions have also been raised about whether the video may have been manipulated or even artificially generated with AI technology.
The controversy deepened as reports noted the video originally surfaced on a website that hosts explicit content. The platform labeled the clip as “leaked” material and explicitly named Julie, though it did not officially identify the male figures. The site also suggested that the full recording ran over four hours, and a thumbnail screenshot showed the presence of another woman partway through the gathering. This detail complicates claims that the female idol had been alone with the two men throughout the clip.
Agencies connected to the named artists have yet to issue clear statements, though one representative acknowledged awareness of the clip. The agency of one of the artists named in the scandal stated, “We are aware that the video is spreading, but it is difficult to verify its authenticity.”
Julie’s agency, S2 Entertainment, has not made a public comment as of now.
Fandoms across different groups have begun demanding strong responses, including legal action against those spreading the material. Concerns center on both the potential harm to the reputations of the idols involved and the illegal nature of producing or distributing private footage without consent.
