Kwon Nara has reportedly joined the talented cast of the upcoming drama Knock Off, alongside industry heavyweights Kim Soo Hyun and Jo Bo Ah.
As reported by Star-News on July 12, Kwon Nara has been officially cast in the upcoming Disney+ original drama series Knock Off.
In the drama, Kwon Nara plays the role of Moon Yoo Bin, who creates and sells counterfeit goods with her younger sibling, only to be scouted by Kim Sung Jun (played by Kim Soo Hyun) and introduced to the allure of wealth.
Knock Off follows the journey of Kim Sung Jun, a man who loses his job during the IMF crisis and turns to counterfeiting. From humble beginnings, he built a global empire, becoming a legendary figure in the world of counterfeits, with a reach that extends far beyond Korea’s borders.
Jo Bo Ah has been offered the lead female role in Knock Off, playing the character of a customs officer who also happens to be Kim Soo Hyun’s first love.
The talented ensemble cast of Knock Off includes Kim Si Eun, Lee Jung Eun, Kang Mal Geum, Jo Woo Jin, Yoo Jae Myung, Kim Hye Eun, Go Kyu Pil, Choi Gyu Ri, and many other accomplished actors.
The drama is written by Han Jung Hoon and directed by Park Hyun Suk.
On another note, Kwon Nara, a former member of HELLOVENUS, made her acting debut in Descendants of the Sun in 2016. Ever since then, she has starred in hit dramas like Suspicious Partner, Itaewon Class, My Mister, and The Midnight Studio.
