Kim Chaewon from LE SSERAFIM is set to collaborate for the first time since her debut.
She joined in on American singer-songwriter Tori Kelly’s upcoming song SPRUCE (feat. Kim Chaewon of LE SSERAFIM), set to release on Apil 5 (local time).
The LE SSERAFIM leader expressed her excitement about the collaboration by sharing her thoughts through her agency, SOURCE MUSIC.
On her collaboration with Tori Kelly, she revealed, “I was honored and grateful to participate in the song of Tori Kelly, an artist I respect.”
The 23-year-old idol said she really enjoyed the song when she first heard it and was excited to record and sing it as soon as she could.
Tori Kelly also caught people’s attention by discussing her collaboration with Kim Chaewon in an interview with the British music magazine NME. She mentioned that the LE SSERAFIM member enthusiastically took part in SPRUCE, and the experience was fantastic.
Tori Kelly, a singer-songwriter known for her musical talent, gained recognition by winning two awards at the 61st Grammy Awards for her 2018 album Hiding Place. The anticipation is high for the collaboration between the two artists and the synergy they will create.
On the other hand, LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, on April 13 and 20. Among all Korean singers, LE SSERAFIM holds the record for being the artist to perform solo at this festival in the shortest time since their debut.
