Lee Do Hyun Participates in Air Force Military Band Busking Performance in Europe
Lee Do Hyun, a member of the Air Force Band, delivered a captivating performance alongside the military band in Brussels, Belgium. On October 3, the band surprised crowds with a guerrilla concert at Brussels Park, joined by dancers from the National Heritage Promotion Agency’s art troupe.
The hour-long show featured an eclectic mix of Korean traditional music, K-pop, and musical numbers. The 29-year-old actor also served as MC for the event.
He shared his experience of performing in Europe with Yonhap News, “This is my first time coming to Europe. I was surprised and grateful that people enjoyed our performance much more than I expected.”
Now, they are gearing up for their next performance – the 11th International Belgian Military Band, happening on October 5-6.
Lee Do Hyun to Host ‘Immortal Songs’ Military Special
KBS’s “Immortal Songs” will air a special episode on October 5 to commemorate the 76th anniversary of Armed Forces Day. Lee Do Hyun, currently serving in the military, will host the episode alongside Shin Dong Yup, Kim Jun Hyun, and Lee Chan Won.
The lineup features renowned performers, including the Ministry of National Defense Ensemble, Army 2nd Corps Taekwondo Demonstration Team, US 8th Army Band, and Gapyeong County Girls’ Choir.
On another note, Lee Do Hyun began his military service in August 2023 and will complete his duties on May 13, 2025.
