Lee Jae Wook and Choi Sung Eun join forces in the upcoming romance drama Last Summer (Working title). According to an industry insider, the two stars will play the lead roles in this captivating love story.

Picking up where they left off two years ago, Last Summer tells the story of a woman who can’t stand summer and a man who lives for sun-kissed days. They reunite after two years and learn more about each other, leading to a romantic connection. Their love story takes place during the summer season.

Lee Jae Wook plays Baek Do Ha, a successful architect who leads Pluto Atelier. He appears confident and driven, but has a hidden sensitive side. 

Choi Sung Eun plays Song Ha Kyung, a talented and ambitious civil servant who has overcome tough beginnings to achieve her goals. When they reunite, their relationship will blossom during a special summer, filled with love.

Lee Jae Wook appeared in Disney+’s The Impossible Heir and has finished filming for his upcoming drama Hong Rang.

Choi Sung Eun has recently garnered attention for her role alongside Song Joong Ki in the film My Name is Loh Kiwan. 

Now, there’s excitement to see them take on a romantic role in Last Summer.

With casting reportedly complete, Last Summer is set to move forward with script readings and filming soon.
