However, in the end, he made the decision not to take on the role. 

Studio Dragon, in a recent announcement to a reputable Korean media outlet on December 26, revealed that Lee Jong Suk won’t be able to join the drama due to scheduling conflicts, including his commitment to a movie filming. 

Studio Dragon’s upcoming drama I’M Against My Romance explores the complex dynamics of reuniting with an ex-lover. It delves into the question of whether such a reunion represents a continuation of a familiar love or the start of an entirely new journey. 

By following the stories of individuals who reconnect with their former partners, the show aims to strike a chord with viewers, evoking feelings of nostalgia and igniting fantasies of first love.

Fans are eagerly anticipating director Lee Eung-bok’s latest project, as he has a proven track record of delivering high-quality and successful dramas. With his previous works garnering both critical acclaim and high viewership ratings, he has established himself as a prominent and celebrated producer in the industry. 

Director Lee Eung-bok clarified recent rumors surrounding the drama. He dismissed the report of Go Minsi withdrawing from the show as “unfounded,” emphasizing that casting decisions are still being considered. 

He also debunked claims of production cancellation, stating that the project is still in progress. While Choi Hyun-wook’s involvement was previously mentioned, no official announcement has been made due to scheduling conflicts.
