As the rumor grew, his agency, Sangyoung ENT, released a firm statement declaring, “We will take all measures after calculating the direct and indirect damage caused by the spread of false information.” Despite the warning, the rumors continued to spread uncontrollably.

Even after the post was blocked, the provocative images continued circulating online. However, just two days after the exposé, A suddenly reversed course and posted a lengthy apology that completely denied the rumors. In their statement, A admitted, “I didn’t think a post that started as a joke would receive so much attention. But as I kept writing and using AI photos, I think I started to believe it was true.”

The apology confirmed that the adult rumors surrounding Lee Yi Kyung’s private life were fabricated, but not before the false story spread widely online. Some netizens, however, remained skeptical that she may have been paid to post an apology.
