Despite being on hiatus for months, she made a rare appearance in months to celebrate a special event.
On July 8, they reunited to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their fandom, MIDZY. The occasion was made even more special by the return of member Lia, who had been on hiatus for 10 months.
The group delighted fans with a reunion for a special live stream. The 24-year-old singer, who suspended activities in September 2023, debuted short hair with bangs and looked excited during the group’s live.
Back in September, she took a break after experiencing extreme anxiety and tension and was unable to participate in scheduled activities.
Earlier this year on February 25, she made a surprise appearance at ITZY’s Born To Be concert in Seoul. She cheered for the members from the stands, and it was quite emotional for fans to see her after a long time.
Fans are thrilled to see her reunite with ITZY, however, JYP Entertainment has yet to release a statement about her activities with the group.
Lia’s return marks the end of her 10-month hiatus, which was prompted by her struggles with anxiety and health issues. While her appearance at the livestream event celebrates the fandom’s anniversary, it’s likely that she’ll now resume her full activities with ITZY
