Lim Ji Yeon and Choo Young Woo are coming to the small screen sooner than you think!
On October 10, it was confirmed that JTBC’s new weekend drama, “Tale of Mrs. Ok” premiered on November 30 at 10:30 PM (Korean time).
“Tale of Mrs. Ok” tells the intense survival story of Ok Tae Young (Lim Ji Yeon), a mysterious foreigner with a fabricated identity, and Cheon Seung Hwi (Choo Young Woo), an entertainer who puts his life on the line for her.
Set in the Joseon era, the talented cast includes Lim Ji Yeon, Choo Young Woo, Kim Jae Won, Kim Mi Sook, and Sung Dong Il.
Lim Ji Yeon stars as Ok Tae Young, a resourceful runaway slave living under a false identity. She relies on her exceptional talents to survive in Joseon.
Choo Young Woo plays Cheon Seung Hwi, a charming entertainer willing to risk everything for love.
The supporting cast includes:
- Yeon Woo as Cha Mi-ryeong, an ambitious learner who idolizes Ok Tae-young and aspires to be like her.
- Rookie Kim Jae Won as Sung Do-gyeom, a highly sought-after young nobleman fiercely loyal to his sister-in-law, Ok Tae Young.
- Sung Dong Il plays Sung Gyu-jin, the insightful county magistrate and father-in-law of Ok Taeyong
- Kim Mi Sook shines as Mrs. Han, the Ok family’s wise and compassionate matriarch.
