Actress Lim Ji Yeon is feeling the love and support from her boyfriend, Lee Do Hyun, and she’s not afraid to share it with the world.
The 34-year-old Kdrama star sat down for an interview for her latest role in JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday drama “The Tale of Lady Ok”, which concluded on January 26.
During the interview, she talked about her boyfriend and his unwavering support. Lim Ji Yeon expressed, “He seems to be taking good care of me and likes (my work). She added, “I really rely on him a lot. Although we don’t discuss work-related matters often, we do share our experiences as actors, including the difficulties we face, and offer each other support and encouragement.”
When asked to send a message to Lee Do-hyun, Ji Yeom said, “I hope you receive lots of blessings in the new year. It’s not easy for us to meet up.”
She gained popularity for her role as Park Yeon Jin, a school bully, in the Netflix original series “The Glory” (April 2023). Shortly after, she publicly confirmed her romance with co-star Lee Do Hyun. The couple has been openly affectionate, with Lee thanking Lim Ji Yeon during his Best New Actor acceptance speech at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards in May 2024. They also attended a friend’s wedding together in September last year.
Lee Do Hyun enlisted as a member of the Air Force band in August 2023 and is set to be discharged in May 2024.
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon wowed audiences with her performance in JTBC’s historical drama “The Tale of Lady Ok”. It is about Ok Tae Young, who lives under a false identity. Cheon Seung Hwi, portrayed by Chu Young Woo, risks his life to protect her from the dangers that come with her fabricated identity.
