Dior has finally made it official: the hugely popular Thai actress duo known as “LingOrm” are now brand ambassadors for the French luxury house. Fans have been waiting for this announcement for months, and the reveal places them alongside some of Dior’s most influential representatives. The list includes BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jennifer Lawrence, Jay Chou, Robert Pattinson, and BTS’s Jimin.
This is a major step not just for Dior, but also for Lingling Sirilak Kwong and Kornnaphat “Orm” Sethratanapong. Their careers have skyrocketed across Asia over the last year. Their appearances at Paris Fashion Week in 2024 and 2025 made quite a noise, perfectly matching Dior’s elegant, refined image.
According to data platform Lefty, Dior ranked as the strongest-performing brand in social media value during the 2025 Paris Fashion Week. Orm and Lingling become the top two celebrities contributing to that impact. Orm generated an estimated $23 million in EMV (Earned Media Value), while Lingling produced around $21 million.
Since they beat out A-list Hollywood and Korean stars, it was clear from that moment that the partnership was inevitable.
Their appointment comes shortly after Jonathan Anderson took over Dior as the new Creative Director. He continues his efforts to refresh the brand’s aesthetic and introduce new, impactful global faces.
Both actresses shared their excitement on Instagram. Orm wrote, “I am honored to be a brand ambassador for the House of Dior and look forward to the start of this new chapter!” Lingling said she was delighted to begin this role and incredibly excited for what’s ahead.
Lingling and Orm’s rise began with the GL drama Our Secret, which premiered in July 2024 and quickly became a regional sensation. The series broke away from Thailand’s long-running BL trend and instead offered a lesbian love story between a doctor and a celebrity. Their chemistry was so natural and emotional that audiences became obsessed.
Orm, born Kornnaphat Sethratanapong in 2002, comes from an impressive family background. Her father is the second-generation heir of a local frozen-food company, while her mother, Koy, is a well-known supporting actress on Channel 3 in Thailand.
After appearing in commercials and several dramas, Orm’s role in Our Secret fully changed her career trajectory. Beyond acting, she is academically accomplished as well, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and is currently pursuing her master’s at Srinakharinwirot University. She has said, “I hope to become an actress who truly understands acting.”
Lingling Sirilak Kwong, meanwhile, was born in 1995 and is of Hong Kong–Thai heritage. She grew up in Hong Kong until the age of 17, when she moved to Thailand with her family and had to adapt to a new culture and language. She was crowned Miss Khon Kaen in 2018, which launched her into the entertainment industry. Though she did not have many representative works early on, Our Secret became the breakthrough that introduced her to the global spotlight. Lingling also sang the series’ theme song, “Eventually, I’m Hurt.”
Following the success of Our Secret, Thai broadcasters quickly put together another GL drama starring the pair: Only You. It premiered on July 18 and successfully carried on the momentum of the first project. The series quickly hit the top of streaming rankings in multiple countries.
Outside of acting, Lingling has also built her own fashion presence. She founded her clothing brand, Always Wonder, in 2024, featuring items like T-shirts, baseball caps, hair accessories, and handbags. Many products sold out immediately after launch.
Earlier this year, in May, she teamed up with Orm again to introduce a jewelry brand called Lo’s Darlene, inspired by sun and moon motifs. The actresses also modeled the collection together, and pre-orders received an overwhelming response.
Perhaps what makes Lingling and Orm so appealing to both audiences and luxury brands is how approachable their fashion tastes feel. Despite their glamorous red-carpet presence, their private style is relaxed, simple, and comfortable. Their styles involve loose silhouettes, basic colors, hoodies, denim, and subtle Y2K influences.
With Dior’s announcement finally official, Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat are stepping into a new era of their careers.
