Hopper HQ’s 2023 Instagram Rich List has revealed just how lucrative sponsored social media posts have become—and among Korean stars, BLACKPINK’s Lisa leads the pack. According to the ranking, Lisa earns an estimated USD 575,000 per Instagram post, making her the only K-pop artist featured on the list.
Other notable Korean figures on the list include actor Lee Min Ho, earning around USD 200,000 per post, and actress Song Hye Kyo with approximately USD 100,000 per post.
Lisa’s social media influence is undeniable. She holds a Guinness World Record as the most-followed K-pop artist on Instagram, with a follower count reaching over 95 million by mid-2023. This massive reach and engagement make her among the most powerful social media figures in Asia and the world.
Topping the overall list is football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, earning a staggering USD 3.23 million per post, followed by Lionel Messi with USD 2.60 million, and Selena Gomez at USD 2.56 million.
Lisa frequently shares sponsored posts for Celine, MAC Cosmetics, and Bvlgari, for which she serves as a longtime ambassador.
Lalisa Manobal began her career with BLACKPINK in August 2016 when YG Entertainment launched the group with their debut single album Square One. From the start, Lisa stood out as the group’s main dancer and lead rapper.
In September 2021, she made her solo debut with the single album Lalisa. The title track set a Guinness World Record for the most-viewed music video by a solo artist in 24 hours on YouTube, amassing 73.6 million views. The album also produced the viral track Money, which became the longest-charting song by a K-pop soloist on the Billboard Global 200.
On the work front, BLACKPINK headlined Coachella 2023 as the first K-pop act to do so, performing across two weekends in April. Later, they performed at the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in London. Next, they will continue their world tour, Born Pink, in San Francisco (August 22) and Los Angeles (August 26).
