BLACKPINK’s Lisa is celebrating a major milestone!
Her latest solo single “Born Again” featuring Raye and Doja Cat has officially debuted at a new personal high on Billboard HOT 100. It is her highest-charting position to date, surpassing “ROCKSTAR”.
On February 19, Billboard released the chart and Lisa’s “Born Again” with Doja Cat and Raye debuted at #69 on the prestigious HOT 100 chart. With this, three pre-release songs from her upcoming debut studio album “ALTER EGO” have scored HOT 100 entries.
Lisa has also become the female K-pop soloist with the most Billboard HOT 100 entries, with a total of 5 songs. Her BLACKPINK bandmates Rosé and Jennie trail behind with 3 entries.
So far, the 27-year-old singer and rapper has entered the chart with the following songs
- #69 “Born Again” (her latest single, featuring Doja Cat and Raye)
- #70 “ROCKSTAR” (her 2024 comeback single)
- #84 “LALISA” (her solo debut title track, released in 2021)
- #90 “MONEY” (the B-side track from her first album, which gained massive popularity)
- #97 “New Woman” (a collaboration single with Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía)
In addition, the song debuted at No. 22 on Billboard Global 200 chart and at No.12 on Global Excl. US.
Lisa made her acting debut with HBO’s third season of “The White Lotus”, “Born Again” was also part of the soundtrack.
She is not just stopping there, she will enter the comic book realm with the release of “ALTER-EGO: THE OFFICIAL COMIC” accompanying the release of her album.
Meanwhile, Lisa will release her first full-length album “ALTER EGO”, containing 12 songs, on February 28.
