Big Picture Entertainment, her agency, confirmed the news of her marriage to OSEN on September 9. The agency revealed that she had a private wedding ceremony in the United States recently.
The wedding was a private affair out of consideration for her non-celebrity husband, who is an office worker. The agency confirmed that Choi has established a new home in the US but will continue to travel to Korea for work.
She has already scheduled her next project and plans to actively pursue her acting career without interruption.
Just as news broke about her marriage to a US citizen, many speculated about her possible retirement. Her agency quickly shut down those rumors, confirming that she has no plans to retire from acting.
