LUN8 is back with a 2nd mini album after a hiatus of 7 months.
Fantagio made an announcement on February 14 that LUN8 will be releasing their second mini-album, titled BUFF, on March 13.
CONTINUE? was LUN8’s debut album, and this upcoming release marks their first comeback after their previous activities.
The agency also shared a teaser video on social media the day before. They revealed the concept for the new album, with a strong focus on the title Buff. In gaming terms, Buff refers to an effect that enhances abilities.
In the teaser video, a bunch of gaming-related items centered around the concept of Buff have been popping up. Things like poker cards, chess sets, dice, and even Jenga have caught people’s attention. Everyday items like camcorders, shoes, headphones, and turntables have also been featured.
LUN8 has been capturing attention since their debut in June last year. Just five days after their debut, they were nominated for first place on a music show. To top it off, they were awarded the 2023 Asia Artist Awards in the Philippines.
Their previous work, where they sang about the confidence and determination of youth, sets the stage for an exciting continuation of their story.
