143 Entertainment has officially announced that MADEIN will continue promotions as a four-member group. Two members Yeseo and Suhye are bidding farewell to the group.
On December 27, the agency released a statement explaining that Yeseo and Suhye have “suspended their activities as members of MADEIN.” As a result, MADEIN will move forward for the time being with Mashiro, MiU, Serina, and Nagomi.
The company thanked fans for their continued support and promised to provide “unsparing and full support” to the remaining members.
In its statement, 143 Entertainment said it will fully support the remaining four members so they can continue their activities steadily as MADEIN.
The agency also addressed the ongoing investigation related to its former CEO, saying, “We will fulfill our responsibilities based on those results and, at the same time, hold those involved, who have caused great harm to MADEIN, accountable until the very end.”
This announcement comes after months of instability for the group. MADEIN’s situation has been closely tied to sexual harassment allegations made against the former CEO earlier this year. In November 2024, original member Gaeun left the group following reports related to those allegations. In May, Suhye went on hiatus for personal reasons, and since then, full-group activities have been difficult to maintain.
By August, the four Japanese members had already begun promoting separately as a unit, MADEIN S. Since then, Mashiro, MiU, Serina, and Nagomi have been the only members actively promoting. The latest announcement feels like a formal confirmation of what fans had already noticed.
With Yeseo and Suhye now officially suspending their activities, MADEIN’s future will continue with a four-member lineup.
