MAMA Awards to Be Held in the US for the First Time

The prestigious MAMA Awards will be held on American soil for the first time ever!

The MAMA Awards 2024 will be held in Los Angeles, a first for the ceremony, which has previously taken place in Asia. 

The surprise announcement was made on July 18, revealing the new venue and date for the prestigious K-pop awards show.

The 2024 MAMA AWARDS will be held on three separate days in two different locations:

• November 21st: Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles, USA (local time)
• November 22nd and 23rd: Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan (Korean time)

The MAMA Awards 2204 will be broadcast live worldwide, allowing fans to tune in from anywhere in the world. The ceremony will be televised on major global channels, connecting K-pop fans across the globe as the event travels from Los Angeles to Osaka.

The prestigious Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA, an iconic venue that hosts the annual Academy Awards, has been announced as the first-ever US location for the MAMA Awards this year.

The 2024 MAMA AWARDS theme, ‘BIG BLUR: What is Real?’, celebrates the blending of music, culture, and style. This year’s event promises to create surreal experiences, merge art and technology, and unite global fans.

Lastly, the 2024 MAMA Awards is set to make history by becoming the first K-POP awards ceremony to venture into the US market. 

The event will take place at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on November 21 and then move to the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan on November 22 and 23. Fans worldwide can also tune in to the live online broadcast.
