MBC has recently unveiled a behind-the-scenes look at the first script reading of its new Wednesday’s drama A Good Day to Be a Dog. This highly-anticipated drama has a star-studded cast including some of the most popular actors in the industry including Cha Eun Woo, Park Gyu Young, and Lee Hyun Woo. At the script reading, they were joined by other key players in the production such as the writer Kim Ji Woon, director Kim Yong Wan, and producer Kim Young Joon.
The cast was seen seriously focused on the script reading as they prepared to bring the characters to life. The script reading was full of laughter and smiles, with the actors joking around and interacting with one another. They were also seen taking time to discuss the script and characters in depth.
The actors started to read the script after introducing themselves. At the end, Cha Eunwoo commented “We all participated in the script reading together, and we had fun because our chemistry was so great.” He further shared “If you view the overall chemistry comfortably with a smile, you will be able to watch the drama even more enjoyably.”
Park Gyu Young also shared her thoughts “The romance between a woman who transforms into a dog and a man who really hates dogs felt charming to me. Please show lots of interest and love.”
Further, Lee Hyun Woo stated “Viewers will be able to enjoy [the drama] even more if they watch while comparing how in sync the webtoon is to the drama.”
Previously, it was confirmed that this upcoming MBC drama will premiere in October and air every Wednesday. The behind-the-scenes look at the script reading of “A Good Day to Be a Dog” has further piqued the anticipation of fans.
