After the MAMA Awards 2024, Melon Music Awards began to unveil its performers’ lineup.
On October 28, Kakao Entertainment’s music platform, Melon, revealed the initial lineup for the 16th Melon Music Awards, featuring top boy groups with massive fan bases.

RIIZE and BOYNEXTDOOR, last year’s Rookie of the Year winners, return to MMA after a remarkable year of growth. BOYNEXTDOOR achieved Hall of Fame “Millions Albums” status with their 2nd and 3rd mini-albums, “HOW?” and “19.99,” released this year.
ATEEZ is set to bring their world-class talent after creating a new history for K-pop at Coachella 2024.
TWS, dubbed the “Best Rookie of 2024,” makes their MMA debut. Their hit song “Plot Twist” surpassed 90 million listens on Melon.
Virtual idol group PLAVE performs after making history as the first male group to top Melon’s “TOP 100” chart with “Pump Up The Volume!” this year
MMA 2024 Theme
This year’s Melon Music Awards, themed ‘New Stream of K-POP’, promises to highlight the latest trends and innovations in Korean pop music. Sponsored by Kakao Bank, MMA 2024 will take place at the Incheon Inspire Arena on November 30 at 5 PM.
Streaming Options
The award ceremony will be broadcast domestically on the Melon app, Melon website, and Melon YouTube channel. In Japan, the event will air live on U-NEXT. Globally, excluding Japan, fans can catch the show on 1theK and the Melon YouTube channel.
16th Melon Music Awards Tickets
Ticket reservations will be handled through Melon Ticket. GOLD tier members and above can make their reservations starting November 4, while all members can reserve tickets beginning November 6.
