Hyungwon has returned just in time for MONSTA X’s 10th debut anniversary.
After 18 months of mandatory military service, Hyungwon has officially been discharged today. It is undoubtedly a special day for both the artist and fans (MONBEBE) worldwide. His return coincides perfectly with MONSTA X’s 10th debut anniversary (May 14), as he will participate in celebrations and new activities.
MONSTA X’s Hyungwon Military Discharge
After beginning his military service on November 14, 2023, the 31-year-old singer completed his basic military training at Baekjol Unit of the 3rd Division in December 2023. He received an early promotion to corporal in June 2024 and finished the remainder of his service as a military band member.
Before enlisting in November 2023, Hyungwon was actively involved in multiple ventures. He starred in the web drama “CEO-dol Mart” and released tracks under his alias “DJ H.ONE”, including a Shownu X Hyungwon unit release.
After his military discharge, the K-pop star will continue group and individual activities in various fields.
