Global YouTuber MrBeast responds to NewJeans fans pleading for help as agency ADOR sues ex-member Danielle for $30 million. Bunnies (NewJeans fans) have inundated MrBeast’s social media with requests to “save NewJeans,” “help Danielle,” and even “buy HYBE.” Ultimately, it has led to a brief but viral response from the internet personality.
More recently, fans launched a coordinated online campaign targeting Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson, the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber. They amplified their campaign with the hashtag #mrbeastsavenewjeans, which quickly trended worldwide. On January 6, 2026, MrBeast replied to one comment with a simple question: “What do I need to do?”
In a new viral video, another popular Vietnamese-American YouTube JasonTheWeen, met MrBeast and asked him to “save Danielle.” In response, he is seen asking questions to the fellow YouTuber about the NewJeans situation.
MrBeast innocently asked, “Are they for sale?” when JasonTheWeen suggested he buy NewJeans or HYBE. He appeared a bit confused, unsure of what to do or what was going on. The YouTuber added, “I am trying to understand because I keep getting asked to help, but I am not sure what I am supposed to do.”
A teammate suggested he “donate” instead, since fans had set up a GoFundMe. He replied, “Maybe it is just an awareness thing, they just want us to help bring awareness.”
The legal battle began when ADOR announced on December 30, 2025, that it had terminated Danielle’s exclusive contract. The label claimed it was “difficult for her to continue as an artist” with the company. A court had previously ordered the members to honor their contracts until 2029, but only Hyein and Haerin have returned to ADOR so far. In the latest update, Hanni, who testified against ADOR in the National Assembly, has also decided to return.
Talks with Minji are still ongoing; rumors are that she might also leave the group after learning about Danielle’s removal.
Following her departure, ADOR filed a damages and penalty lawsuit against Danielle, a member of her family, and former CEO Min Hee Jin, seeking approximately 43.1 billion won ($30 million).
Previously, all NewJeans members terminated their contracts with ADOR in November 2024, following Min Hee Jin’s resignation. Members publicly alleged “mistreatment,” “deliberate miscommunications and manipulation,” as the reasons for contract termination.
Hanni also filed a workplace bullying complaint, which was dismissed because idols are not legally recognized as employees. Fans have responded with global campaigns, including sending protest faxes to South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
