Na In Woo has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming Netflix original series “1/24 Romance” (“An Hour of Romance”). As reported by My Daily on November 18, he will take on one of the drama’s lead roles, starring opposite Shin Hye Sun.
Na In Woo plays Yoo Do Jin, a genius tennis player who holds unmatched records in Korean sports history. His character is described as someone “born from a divine mistake.” He is a man who pushes himself to the limit to make the most of his natural strengths. Even with his exceptional talent and success, he faces the pain of losing people close to him.
Na In Woo now has all the time in the world to film K-dramas for his fans, as he has received an exemption from military service. He initially assigned Grade 4 social service but experienced a three-year delay in his call-up before being exempted in December 2024.
His most recent acting project was the MBC drama Motel California. Na also appeared in a Japanese drama, “Love Is for the Dogs,” and made a cameo in Ma Dong Seok’s fantasy drama, “Twelve.”
Shin Hye Sun is also preparing to lead the series. She is currently reviewing the role of Cha Joo An, an eight-year veteran PD in a broadcasting station’s entertainment division. Cha believes that doing your best with no regrets is the only way to avoid lingering feelings later. She approaches both her work and her life with this mindset.
Shin Hye Sun has already appeared in several hit romantic comedies, including Welcome to Samdal-ri, Thirty But Seventeen, My Golden Life, and more.
She is set to stay busy in 2026. She is confirmed to take on challenging roles in Netflix’s The Art of Sarah and tvN’s Secret Gratitude. Although filming for these projects is either finished or almost done, she is considering additional projects.
“1/24 Romance” tells the story of a man trying to move past old trauma and a woman who remains stuck in her own unresolved past. The two begin to fall in love after their souls switch for exactly one hour a day, every day, out of the 24 hours.
“1/24 Romance” is written by Han Seol Hee and Hong Bo Hee. The series is directed by Kim Sang Hyeop, who previously worked on Extraordinary You and True Beauty. The series is reported to be released on Netflix; however, the exact release timeline is not revealed.
