His agency, BAA (Breeze Artist Agency), unveiled new profile photos on July 29, announcing his return to the entertainment scene. In an official announcement, BAA stated that following his military service, the agency looks forward to introducing a more mature Nam Da Reum as an actor.

The new profile photos signal his official return to the industry, pursuing his acting career once again in the second half of the year.

The newly released photos reveal a fresh side of the 22-year-old actor, as he sheds his previous boyish image and exudes a distinctive, mature aura.

While most Korean actors enlist in the military in their late 20s, Nam Da Reum began his military service on February 8, 2022, when he was 20 years old.

His acting journey began in 2009 with Boys Over Flowers, where he played the child counterpart of Kim Hyun Joong. He subsequently portrayed the younger versions of leading men in many hit dramas including Goblin, Pinocchio, Hotel Del Luna, and more.

He last made an appearance in Netflix’s The Sound of Magic (2022) and TVING’s Monstrous (2022).

Lastly, BAA CEO Lim Chae Hong promised to take Nam Da Reum’s career to the next level by working with international entertainment agencies to showcase his talent globally.
