Nam Joo Hyuk is returning to steal your hearts again!
The 30-year-old actor is set to be discharged from military service next week. He will be returning to civilian life and the entertainment industry on September 19.
Following his enlistment on March 20, 2023, Nam Joo Hyuk completed a five-week basic training program and subsequently finished his secondary military police training at the Army General Administration School.
After that, he was assigned to a battalion and became a certified military police officer.
Prior to his discharge from the military, the Vigilante actor is already considering her next project.
In June, it was reported that he was in talks to star opposite Roh Yoon Seo in the new drama, Donggung (literal title).
Before enlisting in the military, Nam Joo Hyuk wrapped up filming the 8-episode Disney+ series Vigilante, which premiered on November 8.
Furthermore, it was reported in July that Vigilante is returning for a season 2 with the original cast including Nam Joo Hyuk, Yoo Ji-tae, and Kim So Jin.
The production team is reportedly finalizing a cast member and if he accepts the offer, the filming will begin after his military discharge.
