Nature’s Haru was embroiled in controversy when a video of her working at an adult entertainment establishment went viral.

In the viral video, she introduced herself as Sakura Ruru, a former K-pop idol, who debuted at 18 and performed for 6 years, has taken up a new job as a hostess to save money and pursue her dream of opening a dance studio.

Nearly 3 months later, Haru has finally addressed the controversy in a lengthy post on Instagram. On July 15, the 24-year-old songstress took to IG to share that her contract with n.CH Entertainment had expired.

Reflecting on her days as a Nature member, she revealed, “When I was 18, I came to Korea alone without knowing any Korean and debuted with Nature” and continued, “Although there were many difficult times, I was happy every day and felt that I could grow on my own over the past 6 years.

She thanked the staff at n.CH and fellow Nature members for their unwavering support all these years. She expressed gratitude to members for treating her kindly and helping her adapt well to life in Korea.

She did not forget to thank Leafs (fandom) for showing love and sending her letters.

Haru apologized to fans for working at an entertainment establishment, saying, “Also, I wanted to apologize for causing worry and disappointment to the Leafs with my actions last time. Now, although it’s a bit late, I think it was something that disappointed the Leafs. I am really sorry.

She further said, “Although today marks the last day as an idol, the support and love you have given will remain in my heart.

Lastly, Haru shared that she’s been taking on new challenges and asked fans to wait and look forward to it.

Nature, a K-pop group that debuted in 2018, announced their disbandment in April after a six-year run.
