If the rumors are true, this would mark their first summer comeback in 7 years. This news has stirred excitement among fans eagerly anticipating some refreshing summer tunes from the group.

As reported by CBS Nocut News on June 13, NCT 127 is set to return with their sixth full-length album in mid-July.

NCT 127’s summer comeback will happen around 7 years after they dropped their 3rd mini album CHERRY BOMB back in June 2017. This marks their third summer activity since their debut in 2016, including their first mini album NCT #127 released in July 2016.

In April, leader Taeyong began his mandatory military enlistment in the Navy as an active-duty member, becoming the first member to fulfill his national defense duties.

Consequently, this comeback is expected to go forward without Taeyong. All eyes are on whether Taeil will be part of the upcoming album. He halted activities in August 2023 after an accident and underwent surgery in October.

SM Entertainment previously revealed that he will participate in team activities only when fully recovered.

Recently, NCT 127 announced fanmeeting 8ECRET INVITATION to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary. The fan meeting will take place on August 3-4 at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, featuring a 360-degree open stage held twice, with Taeil also joining.

Additionally, they will be part of the special lineup at KCON held in Los Angeles on July 28.
