NCT DREAM’s Jaemin Responds to Backlash Over Expensive Photo Frames

NCT Jaemin

NCT DREAM added another feather to his cap by debuting as a photographer with his first-ever photo exhibition, NARCISSISM.

However, things did not go down well as the 23-year-old K-pop star received criticism for expensive photo frames at the exhibition.

Addressing the costly frame prices on Bubble, Jaemin shared his stance and thanked fans, “I know the frames cost a lot of money, but I am so grateful to the Dreamie for seeing it in a good light.”

The NCT DREAM leader announced that the exhibition proceeds will be donated, “We’ll donate the proceeds to a very worthy cause, thanks for your generosity.”

His debut photo exhibition, ‘NARCISSISM – JAEMIN 1st EXHIBITION’, ran from June 29 to July 31, with an extended period due to an overwhelming response. The exhibition featured photos taken by him over the past seven years, capturing himself, NCT DREAM members, and landscapes from his travels.

However, the sale of his works on Weverse, priced between 550,000 to 850,000 won, sparked criticism from some fans and the public, who deemed the prices too high.

Lastly, Jaemin has faced criticism from some members of the public since announcing the sale of his photos, with many objecting to the high prices.
