NCT’s Jaehyun dropped a major spoiler about his solo album announcement timeline!
It has been a while since the 27-year-old singer has been teasing a solo debut in August.
The SM Entertainment comeback lineup was dropped earlier this year, revealing that he will make a comeback in 3Q of 2024.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating an announcement from SM Entertainment regarding Jaehyun’s solo debut since the start of August.
While no official announcement has been made by SM Entertainment, Jaehyun took to Bubble, a fan communication platform, to reveal that fans have to stay prepared for August 12.
The announcement about a debut solo album will likely be made on August 12. Previously, NCTzens were quite anxious as it was teased that the album would drop in August, however, no announcement has been made up until now.
Further, his fans are increasingly concerned that his album promotion period may be cut short, as August is already underway without an official announcement from SM Entertainment. Typically, K-pop albums are announced nearly a month prior to release.
Since it is his solo debut after 8 years, fans are wishing Jaehyun the best and a lot of success.
Previously, he performed an unreleased song from his solo album, Dandelion, at the Seoul Jazz Festival, where he was invited by American singer Lauv.
NCT 127 members Taeyong and Doyoung dropped solo releases earlier this month, now, fans are looking forward to Jaehyun’s highly-awaited solo debut.
On another note, NCT 127 dropped their summer album WALK and celebrated the group’s 8th debut anniversary with fan meetings on August 3-4.
