Taeil’s upcoming release, It’s Strange, With You, marks the debut remake track from the ‘About Love’ project.
About Love is the 25th project by lyricist and producer Shim Hyunbo. It’s a special series where his popular songs get a fresh twist. Titled ‘His and Hers Love Stories’, this project will showcase love in all its forms through the voices of different artists.
The initial track in the series, It’s Strange, With You, has been cherished for a long time as part of the Discovery of Love drama’s OST. It is expected that Taeil’s rendition will also receive love from fans due to its exceptional musical quality.
The original song was all about her point of view, but Taeil’s take on It’s Strange, With You shifts the focus to his perspective. It beautifully captures the mix of joy and fear that love brings in a more profound and delicate manner, getting listeners even more pumped up.
Furthermore, Taeil’s rendition of It’s Strange, With You elevates the song’s vibe with a simple blend of acoustic guitar, piano, and a 14-member string arrangement. The alluring music video, shot in Melbourne, Australia, has also stirred up excitement. It stars Lee Sehan and Lee Jin Ha as the male and female leads.
Voyager Music, the production team behind the project, is set to carry on the About Love series by releasing songs one after the other, kicking off with Taeil’s It’s Strange, With You. This series revamps well-loved classics in collaboration with new artists, promising to offer listeners a fresh and vibrant experience.
