Netflix has unveiled the main poster and trailer for Season 2 of its original series Gyeongseong Creature.
The new season shifts its setting from 1920s Gyeongseong to modern-day Seoul.
The newly released main poster brings together characters from 1945 Gyeongseong and 2024 Seoul in a single frame. The fierce determination of Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee’s eyes aligns perfectly with the bold tagline, “The weight of karma, a fight to end it all.”
The appearance of ‘Captain Kuroko’ (Lee Moo Saeng), ‘Seung-jo’ (Bae Hyeon Seong) hints at a dark conspiracy.
The newly released main trailer opens with a glimpse of ‘Taesang’ in 1945 Gyeongseong, before shifting to ‘Chaeok’ in 2024 Seoul, where she says, ‘My winter has not ended yet.’
As a series of bizarre and gruesome murders take place across Seoul, ‘Chaeok’ is seen stealthily visiting the crime scenes. It implied that the horrors of Gyeongseong are being resurrected in 2024 Seoul.
Ho Jae, CEO of Bugang, meets Chae Ok, who uses a fake name, and is confused by his strong emotional response to her. Meanwhile, a secret experiment at Jeonseung Pharmaceutical, led by Captain Kuroko, sparks curiosity.
As Seung-jo (Bae Hyeon Seong) recognizes Chae-ok’s unique abilities, similar to his own, and the Kurokos relentlessly pursue them, the stage is set for a thrilling confrontation.
In Gyeongseong Creature Season 2, a new tale unfolds in 2024 Seoul, where Chae Ok (Han So Hee), a survivor of the Gyeongseong era, encounters Ho Jae (Park Seo Joon), a mysterious figure and doppelganger of Taesang.
As they meet, they delve into the unfinished business, fate, and ill-fated connections that linger from the Gyeongseong era.
Lastly, Gyeongseong Creature 2 will be available to stream on Netflix starting on September 27.
