NewJeans

Since the ADOR-HYBE conflict began and various accusations surfaced, NewJeans has been at the receiving end of hate and malicious defamation.

On the bright side, ADOR is not having any of it and has decided to take a stand for NewJeans members. They have decided to take action against people spreading misinformation and malicious slander without leniency.

On June 5, ADOR shared that the agency is continuously monitoring hate posts, saying, “We have continuously monitored various community sites to identify acts related to NewJeans members such as malicious comments, reverse viruses, malicious slander, insults, and defamation by spreading false information.”

The label acknowledged that there’s been an increase in malicious posts targeting members lately, “In particular, we are aware of the recent increase in high-level malicious posts targeting NewJeans using anonymity. We are preparing legal action, including civil and criminal lawsuits. In this process, there will be no leniency or agreement under any circumstances.”

They vowed to protect the rights and interests of their artists, “We plan to use all means and methods to find posts on anonymous community sites that are normally difficult to detect and take legal action. We are always grateful to our fans for their generous support, and we will continue to support NewJeans members.”

Regarding the malicious posts, the official account provided details for legal action and urged fans to report any such content.

On another note, NewJeans is currently occupied with comeback promotions following the release of the double single How Sweet on May 24.
