NewJeans and aespa teamed up for some fun-filled dance challenges and playful shenanigans.
Recently, Minji and Haerin met Karina and Giselle at SM and planned a little prank.
aespa girls gave Minji Armageddon Alien invasion stickers and asked her to spread them around the company. Minji went rogue and covered HYBE with aespa’s stickers without the manager’s knowledge.
Fans were thrilled to learn that they are close together despite all the recent drama surrounding HYBE and ADOR and pulling pranks together.
On June 8, aespa’s Winter and Ningning went to HYBE and filmed the How Sweet dance challenge with Danielle nas Hanni. Similarly, Haerin and Minji went to SM Entertainment to shoot the Armageddon dance challenge with Giselle and Karina.
It was pleasantly surprising for K-pop fans to see them visiting each others’ agencies especially in the wake of the HYBE-ADOR conflict. Previously, Min Hee Jin claimed that the HYBE Chairman urged her on multiple occasions to beat aespa’s record.
Despite the accusations, it seems like their friendship is not affected at all, and continue to support each other for their comebacks.
On the work front, NewJeans made a comeback with the single How Sweet and aespa dropped their debut full-length album Armageddon.
