The drama surrounding HYBE, ADOR CEO Min Heejin, NewJeans, and ILLIT is intensifying with each day. More and more artists are dragged into the conflict as CEO Min allegedly accused TWS, RIIZE, ILLIT, and BTS of copying NewJeans.

Even since the announcement, fans are speculating the reason why NewJeans was left out of the lineup. Some believe that the HYBE-ADOR conflict could be the reason for their absence.

Some are saying that the group’s comeback plans and upcoming debut in Japan in June could be why they weren’t included in the lineup.

NewJeans is scheduled to release singles on May 24 and June 21 and Weverse Con Festival is happening on June 15-16.

Despite the ongoing feud, HYBE’s CEO has assured fans that NewJeans’ comeback and scheduled activities will not be affected.
