NewJeans hit a record-breaking 600 million streams on Spotify with their song OMG. It’s the first time they’ve achieved such an incredible milestone.
According to Spotify, NewJeans’ title song OMG has been played a whopping 605,585,542 times as of February 3. OMG is a lively and exciting hip-hop R&B song that combines UK garage rhythm and trap rhythm.
As soon as OMG was released, it took over the top two spots on major music charts and even made it to the Hot 100 on the US Billboard. Nearly a year later, it’s still dominating the domestic charts and has been on the US Billboard’s ‘Global (excluding the US)’ chart for a whopping 56 weeks.
NewJeans has released a total of 10 songs on Spotify, including their hit track OMG. Ditto has been streamed over 500 million times, while Super Shy and Hype Boy have each surpassed 400 million streams.
Attention has been streamed over 300 million times, Cookies has reached over 200 million streams, and Hurt, New Jeans, ETA, and Cool With You have all been streamed over 100 million times each. In total, NewJeans has accumulated approximately 3.6 billion streams on Spotify.
