NewJeans has struck gold once again with their latest collaboration, this time teaming up with Japanese fashion powerhouse Hiroshi Fujiwara.
Just like their previous game-changing partnership with Takashi Murakami, this collaboration is set to make waves in the fashion world.
As announced by ADOR on May 11, NewJeans has teamed up with Hiroshi Fujiwara, the ‘godfather of Japanese street fashion.’
Fujiwara designed a range of stylish items, including tees, bandanas, hats, and bags, featuring custom graphics with the group’s name and member names in Korean, written by Fujiwara himself.
The group showed off their edgy street style in a series of posts on social media platforms, rocking the new merch with effortless cool.
NewJeans’ collaboration with these two fashion powerhouses, Takashi Murakami and Hiroshi Fujiwara, happened organically.
Takashi Murakami expressed his admiration for NewJeans in interviews, while Hiroshi Fujiwara connected with NewJeans member Hanni during a fashion magazine shoot earlier this year.
In other news, NewJeans is set to make their Japanese debut on June 21 with the single Supernatural, which will be released simultaneously in Korea and globally for maximum accessibility.
Following this, they will hold their Japanese debut showcase and first solo concert at the iconic Tokyo Dome on June 26 and 27.
