NewKids Set to Take Stage at LG Twins vs Hanwha Eagles Game

NewKids, trainees from Starship Entertainment, will perform at the baseball stadium. They are part of the survival show “Debut’s Plan”, a global project that follows the journey of a new boy group debuting this year. The project has been getting a lot of attention from K-pop fans worldwide.

The musical survival show “Debut’s Plan” premiered on March 14 with a total of 21 contestants. However, only seven lucky and talented trainees will debut as members of the new group NewKids.

In addition, they released the digital single “NewKids on Starship” as the theme song, containing ntains the track “ImPerfect” and its English version.

NewKids are set to make a pre-debut appearance at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul. On March 26 at 6:30 PM, they will perform their new song “ImPerfect” during intermission after the LG Twins vs Hanwha Eagles game. It is a huge opportunity for the “Debut’s Plan” trainees to perform at a baseball stadium even before their official debut.

Regarding their pre-debut appearance, the trainees shared, “We’re honored to perform our new song ‘ImPerfect’ in front of the audience at the LG Twins game.” They also promised to deliver “a lively and energetic stage that will bring victory.”

“ImPerfect”, the new song by New Kids, will be performed at Jamsil Stadium. As the theme song for “Debut Plan”, “ImPerfect” aims to comfort those who feel anxious or tired from striving for perfection. The song shares NewKids’ message of hope that together, we can find perfection in our imperfections.

“ImPerfect” was released on music platforms on March 14 and has since climbed up the charts.

“Debut’s Plan”, the program featuring NewKids, is a large-scale global project documenting the debut journey of a new boy group from Starship. The show follows 21 trainees, including Kim Min Jae, Kim Yun Seo, Wu Hao, Suzuki Kaira, Seok June, Park Won Bin, Park Seong Hyeon, Park Jun Hwan, Miyata Haru, Lee Woo Ju, Lee Tae Geon, Lee Jun Seo, Kim Ji Yong, Jo Min Jae, Jin Bo Min, Jeong Se Min, Jeon Jun Seo, Jang Yong Hoon, Jang Kyu Hyun, Chu Yoo Chan, and Baek Jun Hyuk.

All these 21 trainees compete for a spot in the debut group. New episodes of “Debut’s Plan” are released every Friday at 9:30 PM on the “New Kids on Starship” YouTube channel. The upcoming “EP. 3 Episode” (March 28) will show the trainees’ stage preparations, conflicts, and intense ranking battles, as they vie for a spot in the top 7.
