NMIXX is facing a major setback as they gear up for a comeback this month.
One of the group’s beloved members, Bae aka Baerin, is going on hiatus as she suffers from poor health.
On August 2, JYP Entertainment issued a notice, Bae Health Status and Information Schedule, on all social media handles.
The label gave an update regarding her health saying, “NMIXX member Bae visited the hospital and received treatment due to a cold, body aches, and poor physical condition. Following the advice of medical professionals that sufficient rest and relaxation are necessary, Bae will be resting for the time being to ensure a speedy recovery.”
NMIXX is set to participate in the recording of the 2024 Chuseok Special Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC), scheduled for August 5. Considering her poor health, the 20-year-old K-pop will not be attending the highly anticipated ISAC.
Moreover, it is uncertain if she will participate in comeback activities as NMIXX is releasing the 3rd EP Fe3O4: STICK OUT, scheduled to be released on August 19.
