After swooning us with his role as Kim Ji Wook, Kim Young Dae will be temporarily stepping away from the limelight!
The 28-year-old actor is set to connect with his Korean fans through a special and meaningful event.
On September 25, his agency, Outer Universe, revealed that Kim Young Dae will host his first domestic fan meeting in a long time, titled “YoungDae’s INVITATION”, on October 26.
The title signifies his invitation to fans to share a special moment together. Through this event, he prepares to express heartfelt gratitude to his long-time supporters and say goodbye before enlisting in the military.
Kim Young Dae shared, “I am thrilled to meet domestic fans directly after a long time, and I’m incredibly happy and excited while preparing for the fan meeting. I hope to create more memories with the fans during this event.”
In an interview last year, The Forbidden Marriage actor revealed his military enlistment plans, stating that he would enlist in the second half of 2024. The exact military enlistment date will either be announced at the fanmeeting or in a separate statement released by the agency.
He is currently starring in tvN’s Monday-Tuesday drama, No Gain No Love, opposite Shin Min Ha. The rom-com drama is receiving a lot of love from fans and his acting skills and portrayal of ‘Kim Ji Wook’ is being praised.
No Gain No Love is set to conclude with only two episodes remaining. The final two episodes of the drama will premiere on September 30 and October 1.
Kim Young Dae has impressed viewers with his roles in The Forbidden Marriage, Shooting Stars, Moon in the Day, and more. He also recently appeared in KBS’ Perfect Family, which concluded on September 19.
Ahead of his military enlistment, he is occupied with the filming of his upcoming drama, Dear X, also starring Kim Yoo Jung.
Tickets for “Youngdae’s INVITATION” will be available exclusively on Melon Ticket. The pre-sale for regular members of his official fan cafe begins on September 30 at 8 PM, while general sales start on October 7 at 8 PM.
