Despite the changes, the label confirmed that Oh My Girl will continue group activities. They thanked YooA and Arin for their contributions and assured Miracles (Oh My Girl’s fandom) that the members will engage in group activities together.

On Thursday (May 8), WM Entertainment released an official statement regarding Oh My Girl’s contract renewals on their fancafe. WM stated

First, we would like to extend our congratulations and gratitude to Oh My Girl, who is celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and to the fans who have consistently supported them.

We are pleased to announce that we have renewed contracts with four members of Oh My Girl: Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin. Based on the strong trust built over the past 10 years, these members have agreed to renew their contracts for the second time, following their first renewal in 2022.

We are delighted to have renewed contracts with the members with whom we have shared a long and special connection, and we would like to express our gratitude to them for making this meaningful decision.

Additionally, after in-depth discussions, members YooA and Arin have agreed to terminate their exclusive contracts. Although their exclusive contracts will end, YooA and Arin have promised to continue working together as members of Oh My Girl. We would like to express our gratitude to YooA and Arin for their 10 years of dedication and sincerely support their new individual activities.

We will continue to provide full support not only for the group’s activities but also for each member’s individual endeavors. We kindly request fans’ continued interest and support for the members as they move forward, both individually and as Oh My Girl.

WM Entertainment, May 8, 2025

Arin and YooA are actively pursuing solo activities and will now sign with new agencies to represent them. Arin has made a name for herself in the K-drama world. On the other hand, YooA is active as a soloist and released her first single album, “Borderline,” last year. Other members Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin are active in the fields of entertainment, drama, and music.

Under the supervision of WM Entertainment, Oh My Girl burst onto the K-pop scene in April 2015 with their self-titled album. They gained fame with hit songs like “Cupid,” “Liar Liar,” “Secret Garden,” “Closer,” and “Windy Day”.

Meanwhile, Oh My Girl released a 10th-anniversary special single “Oh My” on April 9 and held the 4th solo concert “Milky Way” on April 19-20 in Seoul.
