Park Bo Gum has joined the most elite ambassador lineups by becoming the global brand ambassador for Swiss luxury watchmaker Omega.
With this new role, the 32-year-old K-drama heartthrob steps into a space shared by international icons from film, fashion, sports, and even space exploration. Omega revealed the partnership through a series of elegant first images.
These campaign images show the actor wearing a stainless steel Seamaster Planet Ocean. The look immediately stood out for its calm confidence and what many described as a sense of “mature elegance.”
In a statement shared with the announcement, Omega said Park Bo Gum represents “a modern embodiment of timeless values.” The “Good Boy” actor also expressed his excitement, saying he was “honored to join a brand with such a rich history and spirit of excellence.”
Park Bo Gum now becomes part of Omega’s carefully curated global family. The group includes some of the most recognizable names in the world. Longtime ambassadors include Nicole Kidman, who has represented the brand since 2005, and Cindy Crawford, Omega’s longest-serving ambassador, associated with the brand since 1995.
The list also features Eddie Redmayne, George Clooney, and Daniel Craig, whose portrayal of James Bond helped make the Omega Seamaster an icon.
This ambassadorship comes at a particularly strong moment in Park Bo Gum’s career. This year, he starred in the Netflix series When Life Gives You Tangerines, where his role as the devoted and emotionally grounded Yang Gwan Sik struck a chord with viewers.
His performance was so well received that fans affectionately began calling him “the Nation’s Husband.” Then, he took on a completely different role of athlete-turned-police officer in “Good Boy” opposite Kim So Hyun.
He is also preparing for a major upcoming historical film directed by Jang Hoon, best known for A Taxi Driver. The story reportedly draws inspiration from works like King Lear and Succession. Park Bo Gum will take on a challenging lead role involving a princely rivalry centered around a famous painting.
Perhaps his most nationally significant role this year is his appointment as the Honorary Ambassador for Korea Tourism, following in the footsteps of global stars like BTS and Lee Jung Jae. As the face of the “Never Ending Korea” campaign, Park Bo Gum is helping promote Korean culture worldwide. He even recorded an official theme song for the campaign titled On My Way, saying he wanted the music to reflect “the warmth and excitement of discovering Korea.”
