One Hundred, led by CEO Cha Ga Won, has officially denied reports regarding the financial crisis. The agency claims that it failed to pay billions of won in settlements to artists, including Baekhyun, Taemin, and THE BOYZ.

On January 2, One Hundred released an official statement responding to an investigative report published by The Fact. The company said the claims of unpaid settlements were not true. According to the agency,

The “unsettled payments” issue mentioned in the article is a matter that is currently being discussed and adjusted normally, in accordance with each artist’s contract terms and activity status.

The report by The Fact is not true, and we deeply regret that it was published without proper fact-checking or the opportunity to exercise our right of reply.

The agency said it plans to take strong legal action, stressing that such reports could seriously damage the image of its artists.

The company also emphasized that there are no conflicts between the artists, executives, and the agency. It added that Chairman Cha Ga Won is “doing her utmost to support the artists” and help them continue their activities. One Hundred said the truth will be clearly revealed through legal procedures.

Earlier, The Fact reported that several artists under the One Hundred umbrella were owed large amounts of unpaid settlements. The report claimed that The Boyz had not received about 1 billion won, Baekhyun was owed around 1 billion won, and Taemin was owed more than 1 billion won.

Chen and Xiumin were also reported to be owed hundreds of millions of won each. The total unpaid amount was estimated to be around 5 billion won.

The report stated that the issue began in the second half of 2025 and was linked to financial difficulties across One Hundred and its affiliated labels, including INB100 and BigPlanetMade. It also mentioned that Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin are required to pay 10 percent of their solo earnings to SM Entertainment, which reportedly has not been done due to cash shortages.

The situation has drawn more attention due to recent internal controversies at One Hundred. In December 2025, media reports alleged that Cha Ga Won transferred around 12 billion won to producer MC Mong and suggested a long-term personal relationship between them. MC Mong was later removed from his executive position.

Both sides denied the affair claims, and Cha Ga Won filed a lawsuit to recover the money. Legal action has also been taken against the media outlets that reported the allegations.

Despite the denial from One Hundred, the controversy remains unresolved. While the company insists that payments are being handled according to contracts, questions remain about delayed settlements and the agency’s financial condition.
